Inspired by fun visits to the town fair, Molinetes resembles the figures of pinwheels turning in the wind. All the colors featured in this rug are achieved using only natural wool, no dyes added, providing a more organic, natural feeling. Our beautiful handmade rug mixes modern style with family tradition to fill with warmth your home.
Every piece from Achiote Guatemalan Rugs is completely handmade, from the spinning of the yarns and the weaving on the loom, all the way to the transformation process of converting the fabric into an area rug.
The result is a fully functional real rug that provides extraordinary beauty from the hands of tradition.
By combining traditional handcrafting techniques from talented artisans with the innovation of our own technology, we hope to boost incomes for the artisans and maintain the traditions that are essential to their way of life.
Each and every Achiote Guatemalan Rug is unique and made on-demand, the process is carefully carried to ensure high quality, therefore our lead time is from 6 to 8 weeks.
